As you can see, with on-demand pricing, it can be difficult to find an exact answer to that critical question: ‘how much is a private jet rental?’ However, we’ve put together standard pricing for some common routes and aircraft to give you an approximation of what to expect for private jet travel. Please note that the prices provided by our Instant Quote Calculator are estimates only. To receive a formal quote, we invite you to talk to one of our expert air charter associates directly by calling 888-593-9066
Book with confidence knowing your agent will diligently analyze all available aircraft in the charter market and identify the best-positioned aircraft, giving you the flexibility to choose your preferred aircraft at the best available price. We’ll also review any other available cost-saving options with you, such as taking advantage of one-way charter flights (also known as a deadhead flight or empty leg flight) to accommodate your travel itinerary.
The Executive Car Service setup was a TOTAL disaster and almost ruined my trip. Chris Fink is awesome, but this man in Jersey was an absolute disgrace. Very disappointed with that firm. The crew stellar. Better than outstanding. I was blessed to have them transporting me on thus very important day trip.Chris' follow-up and communication was outstanding. He is Top-Notch.
When it comes to small planes, weight matters. Don't be surprised when your contact emails you for all passenger weights, and when the pilot organizes seating by weights. (You don't want the three biggest people on the right side, for instance.) Similarly, don't expect to bring two weeks of stuff for a weekend, and definitely mention if you're planning on bringing golf clubs or skis. If they don't fit, check out ShipSticks or LuggageForward, which sends your equipment beforehand for a relatively small fee.

Coordinating air travel for large numbers of passengers requires careful planning and constant diligence. Overlook even the slightest detail and it can result in unnecessary delays and frustration on your travel day. With more than a decade of experience in booking group jet charters, Stratos Jets will handle the logistics so that you can travel with complete peace of mind.
On a Charter Flight, passengers aren’t limited to on of 2 or 3 entrees being served. They can literally design their own meal or order from a restaurant of their choice to be enjoyed while traveling in supreme comfort.  There is also a wide variety of entertainment options on a charter flight. Many aircraft used for charter flights have free WiFi, high end sound or entertainment systems with iPhone/Android hook-ups and even satellite TV.

Always enjoy flying privately. Exciting from planning a trip to booking to flight(s). Predominantly use Stratos. Attentive and personal service. Joel Thomas was a great go to person. All subcontractors that they use have been top-notched. Only critique is I obtained better final pricing of the flight when I received quotes from other charter companies. Seems to be an industry thing about competitive pricing in order to obtain the best price. Yes I would recommend Stratos.

Everything worked out great. Working with Stratos was seamless. When the Trump TFR foiled our plans on both the outbound and inbound legs, Stratos was proactive in finding the best solution for us and minimized the disruption to the timing of our itinerary while also remaining flexible to our schedule as well. Joel could not have been easier to work with, finding us the best options at the best prices.

Whether you travel frequently for business or only occasionally for pleasure, chances are you've considered hiring a charter plane. When you fly on a private plane, you can skip the long wait times and baggage checks of a commercial flight. Your departure and return times are determined by your schedule, and in some cases you can even book a same-day flight! Here are some of our most commonly asked questions regarding private flights:
It is clear that Stratos Jets is one of best charter brokerage companies in the world. When we get the pleasure to work with Joel and his entire team, we get to see first hand what sets them apart. The knowledge of operations, safety and different charter markets is always spot on. The trips are sent to us complete and executed flawlessly which makes the entire process more effiecient and better served the client. In addition to being one of the top aviation professional, Joel is a role model for many and I am grateful to have him part of my journey as a friend.
The most economical option is chartering, which doesn't require any cash upfront (other than a deposit) through companies like Tradewind, Sentient, and Solairus, (which we took home from North Carolina). Of course, there are the old standbys like NetJets and Marquis, who sell fractional ownership (like 1/16th) of a single jet for upwards of $100K. One step down from that, pricewise, is the jet card, where you buy a set amount of hours from a company like Nicholas or Private Jet Services, and can use those hours for different planes. Then there are membership models like WheelsUp, where you pay $17,500 as an initiation fee to fly in their fleet, and then a $8,500 annual dues fee starting the second year. It's like a country club—only you're guaranteed access to a KingAir350i or Citation Excel / XLS instead of a golf course.
First time flying on a private plane. Knowing the exact layout inside & manner of boarding. Originally inquired about a Lear jet 35 & then confirmed a citation ll. Not a problem for me & my husband but for the 102 year old traveling with us was difficult to board as initial step into plane was 18 inches & the crew had to find a step stool. Steps were little and required several people to board & inboard her. The crew of Lance & Meagan were exemplary & would fly with them anytime

We had quite a number of issues booking this trip, which resulted in add'l work and follow up for me. As broker these issues should have been handled / caught prior to making a proposal. I believe I had to sign 4 different revised quote sheets for this trip! Also the final signed sheet stated we would land in LFMD on the return leg. Hence we booked transportation for pick up at LFMD. However flight landed in LFMN. This caused add'l stress and expense for no reason. I have only now seen that the last itinerary link showed an arrival at LFMN - but I never opened this one since all previous ones, including the contract reconfirmation showed LFMD. As for the aircraft itself: it was one of the oldest ones I have ever flown. The door / separation to the toilet / luggage area was broken (not the lock but the entire frame!) and the toilet was not accessible due to a lot of "stuff" (amenities, water bottles, etc.) being thrown in / stored in the area. Overall cleanliness was not superb either. Finally, the catering we requested was not available / not complete. Breakfast (eggwhite and sausage!!) was cold and wet and the fruitplatter had molded grapes; no ice bucket, nor champagne glasses were present. On the return leg, fruitplatter was nice but again no ice bucket nor champagne glasses were present. As a matter of fact, the soft drink container was not even replenished w new ice!! So overall - yes, we flew from A to B but the service experience was disappointing.
We prefer to finalize our itinerary, plane and crew at least a week in advance. We did not get things completely final until the day of the actual flight. Secondly, we prefer to pay post-flight rather than pre-flight. You were able to make an exception in our case which was appreciated. Lastly, the quality of the catering service from STT was atrocious. It was inedible.
