We had quite a number of issues booking this trip, which resulted in add'l work and follow up for me. As broker these issues should have been handled / caught prior to making a proposal. I believe I had to sign 4 different revised quote sheets for this trip! Also the final signed sheet stated we would land in LFMD on the return leg. Hence we booked transportation for pick up at LFMD. However flight landed in LFMN. This caused add'l stress and expense for no reason. I have only now seen that the last itinerary link showed an arrival at LFMN - but I never opened this one since all previous ones, including the contract reconfirmation showed LFMD. As for the aircraft itself: it was one of the oldest ones I have ever flown. The door / separation to the toilet / luggage area was broken (not the lock but the entire frame!) and the toilet was not accessible due to a lot of "stuff" (amenities, water bottles, etc.) being thrown in / stored in the area. Overall cleanliness was not superb either. Finally, the catering we requested was not available / not complete. Breakfast (eggwhite and sausage!!) was cold and wet and the fruitplatter had molded grapes; no ice bucket, nor champagne glasses were present. On the return leg, fruitplatter was nice but again no ice bucket nor champagne glasses were present. As a matter of fact, the soft drink container was not even replenished w new ice!! So overall - yes, we flew from A to B but the service experience was disappointing.

I had 15 piece band booked on a commercial airline that got cancelled due to weather. Every single flight for the next 2 days was sold out and the band was going to miss their performance. Thank to the Herculean efforts from Glenn and Joel, we were able to secure a flight for the following morning and get the band to Florida on time. Glenn was simply amazing with his follow-through, availability when I needed him and keeping an eye on everything. He was with me from the first phone call at 6:30pm until take-off the next morning at 10:10am. Thank you Stratos for saving the day!
Service was incredible. Joel and Stratos was fantastic. Had a delayed special occasion and they went out of their way to make everything perfect. It was a surprise trip and could not have been easier to work with and very helpful in getting all arrangements made for in-flight. Beyond a 5 star. Thank you all for making a special trip a truly MEMORABLE one for us!!!

Like scheduled airline service, private jets also have weight limits with regard to the amount of luggage that can be stowed during a trip. Items such as skis and golf clubs are allowed as long as they conform to the dimensions and weight limits of the aircraft. These weight limits vary by aircraft type. Ask your charter sales representative if you have concerns about excess baggage or special items to be included in your luggage.

There are limitations and restrictions on both the amount and size of luggage you bring as well as the types of items you may pack. The limitations of amounts and sizes of luggage are dependent upon the size of the baggage area of the aircraft you are chartering. If you plan to bring any oversized items, such as skis or snowboards, please be sure to advise your flight specialist in advance. Also, as a Part 135 operator and for your safety, we are held to the same TSA regulations for prohibited items for carry-on & checked baggage as the airlines. Other near-term empty leg deals included Houston to Aspen on a Citation X seating eight for $14,000, not much less than an eight-seat Learjet 45XR for $18,945 with a normal charter. Skyjet, a broker that also offers empty legs had one this weekend from Nassau in the Bahamas to Ft. Lauderdale on a six-seat Phenom 300 for $3,000. Ft. Lauderdale to Key West and Tampa to Ft. Lauderdale, also on a Phenom 300, were being offered at $2,625 each. Chartering a similar aircraft for the same timings the regular way would run around $6,000.
